Workshop Manager
Due to continued growth and increased demand, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to join our team within a busy timber manufacturing environment.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of workshop operations, ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily workshop operations
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards and project specifications
- Maintain accurate records, including job sheets and production documentation
- Check all incoming deliveries for accuracy, damage, or shortages, and manage associated paperwork
- Work closely with the Contracts Managers to assist in planning and monitoring production programmes and progress
- Coordinate and supervise workshop staff and subcontractors, ensuring effective allocation of labour and resources
- Monitor workmanship and ensure any non-conformance issues are addressed promptly and correctly
- Promote and enforce adherence to health and safety procedures at all times
We are looking for someone with strong experience in a workshop management environment, with an understanding of manufacturing and construction.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams, suppliers, and subcontractors. A proactive, organised, and hands-on approach is essential.
