TRAINEE CAD OPERATOR / COMPONENT SCHEDULER

We require a person to fulfil the above role to work alongside our existing design technicians and the design manager to create CAD drawings for construction projects.  The role will also entail the preparation of material and component schedules from the cad drawings.

SUB CONTRACT BRICK LAYING GANGS

We require sub contract brick laying gangs for housing sites, in and around the Lincolnshire area. We currently have a need for sites in Sutertton, Boston and Biggleswade Bedfordshire.

SUB CONTRACT 1ST AND 2ND FIX JOINERS

We require sub contract joiners for housing sites, in and around the Lincolnshire area. We currently have a need for sites in Sutertton, Boston and Biggleswade Bedfordshire

APPRENTICE JOINERS

Clarke Group are a well-established Construction and Joinery Contractor based in Wyberton, Boston. We are looking to take on two Apprentice Joiners to become part of our friendly team. Our key focus for filling these roles is that the candidates have a genuine interest in Joinery, and pursuing a career in the trade.

We are flexible with our approach and for the right candidates would offer a choice of training:

  • Working within our bespoke, fully equipped workshop.
  • Working on active sites.

An overview of each option would be:

  • Working within our onsite workshop – in which we mostly manufacture doors, windows, stairs, bespoke furniture and kitchens.
    • Observing and learning from fully qualified experienced Joiners.
    • Full training on using and maintaining specialist Woodwork machinery.
    • Establishing how to select the correct materials to minimise waste.
    • Learning how to manufacture the materials in to components including bespoke joinery items.
    • Assembling components to construct the finished article.
    • Become competent in finishing techniques such as using stains, lacquers and paints etc.
  • Working on active sites
    • Observing and learning from fully qualified experienced Joiners.
    • Hanging doors and fitting ironmongery to doors.
    • Fitting architraves and skirting boards.
    • Installing stairs and windows including window boards, glazing etc.
    • Fitting roofs.
    • Laying floor joists, floors and finished floorboards.
    • Installing bespoke kitchens.

The successful candidate will complete a Level 1 and 2 NVQ over a two-year period. This is typically achieved by working four days and having one day a week at a local college. There will also be the opportunity to further the qualification for the right candidate if they wish to do so.

EXPERIENCED SITE MANAGER (Residential Dwellings)

An excellent opportunity has arisen due to local land acquisition to join Clarke Group Construction; a well-established Contractor and growing executive Housing Developer based in Boston, Lincolnshire.

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record of managing residential builds. You will be required to co-ordinate trades, direct labour and materials; as well as liaising with suppliers to ensure that the onsite construction team is fully resourced. You will also be responsible for the successful and safe delivery of the exceptionally high quality dwellings associated with Clarke Group.

It is an essential requirement that applicants hold full site management tickets i.e. SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS.
