Marie Curie Charity event update

Members of the Clarke Group Construction Ltd completed their 9 mile hike up the highest mountain in Britain on 10th September 2016. It was a harrowing challenge with the highest point reaching 3,200ft but it was all in aid of the amazing efforts achieved within the Marie Curie Charity each day.

Up to 100 people attended the hike up Scarfell pike, which meant a mix of backgrounds and abilities being present. Our team met some very humble people with first hand stories of the fantastic work that Marie Curie do.

They all said that the hike was tough but luckily the weather was fine and the rain held off.

We have managed to raise an amazing £2135 so far with some money still to be collected, that means we beat our target of £2000 and we can’t thank you enough for your support in helping us raise this amount for a remarkable charity.
